Skyridge Montessori follows the Montessori Method and hires only Montessori-certified teachers, who are also certified through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch. Skyridge Montessori is a registered Independent School, through the BC Ministry of Education, receiving 40% of our tuition costs from provincially funded grants.

Our tuition fees are partially subsidized (about 40%) by BC Ministry of Education funding, as Skyridge is a recognized Independent School.
We review tuition annually to ensure our rates remain competitive and transparent, and to reflect any changes in available funding.Each year, our community raises an additional 5–10% of our general operating expenses through fundraising. These efforts directly enhance programs, facilities, and student experiences. -
Each Skyridge Montessori classroom is designed with a three-year age mix, encouraging both individual growth and social development.
Older students share what they have learned with younger peers, fostering leadership, collaboration, and respect.Casa (ages 3–6)
Lower Elementary (ages 6–9)
Upper Elementary (ages 9–12)
Adolescent (ages 12–15)
Each class includes approximately 20–25 students, guided by a Montessori-certified Teacher and an Assistant.

All Skyridge teachers hold a Bachelor’s Degree before completing a one-year Montessori training program through an accredited post-secondary institution approved by the BC Ministry of Education.
Many also hold Master’s degrees in Education or other advanced qualifications.
All teachers maintain valid BC Independent School Teaching Certificates. -
At this time, Skyridge Montessori does not offer scholarships. However, our goal is to establish a scholarship and bursary program in the future to help make a Montessori education more accessible.

Skyridge Montessori has two main fundraising groups:
Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) – supports Casa, Elementary, and Adolescent programs through fundraising for arts, sports, music, outdoor play equipment, and community events.
Building Futures Committee – focuses on long-term growth through annual campaigns, events, and donor programs, supporting the expansion and improvement of school facilities.

Yes. We welcome students with previous Montessori experience. Please contact our Admissions Office or visit our Admissions page for more information.

Yes. While we give priority enrollment to students with prior Montessori experience, we consider all applicants on a case-by-case basis.
Acceptance into our Elementary and Adolescent Programs depends on space availability and whether the program is a good fit for the child and family.
